Adam Driver stars in 65, a sci-fi action thriller that follows the story of a pilot who crashes onto an alien planet millions of years ago. Stuck on this prehistoric world filled with dinosaurs and other dangerous creatures, Driver must battle his way to survival.
Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, whose previous experience includes writing the popular A Quiet Place, directed the movie. There have been reports that they may be considering a sequel for this successful venture.

65 isn’t a bad movie, but it doesn’t quite live up to its potential. Despite its intriguing premise, the action in 65 feels slow and uninspired.
Unfortunately, the film fails to provide viewers with enough dinosaur action to keep them engaged. Instead, they’re scattered throughout in brief and scattered moments throughout the narrative.
Given this is an original story, the lack of dinosaurs is a serious issue. However, the directors seem to have found a solution for it and if you’re partial to Jurassic Park movies in general, then 65 should provide plenty of enjoyment for fans.
Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, authors of A Quiet Place, recently directed 65 – a sci-fi dinosaur epic currently in theaters. At a Reddit AMA session, the duo revealed they plan to make another sequel for their film – an unprecedented step for these directors who created such an influential franchise with A Quiet Place.

Sam Raimi
For three decades, Sam Raimi’s genre-filmmaking has left audiences with awe-inspiring reactions – and oftentimes with an unexpected ending!
He made his mark in 1981 with the cult horror movie The Evil Dead. Subsequent releases, Evil Dead II and Army of Darkness, maintained the gore fest’s premise but added comedy elements, giving him room to experiment with various genres.
Raimi is known for his quirky genre films, but he also produces some poignant dramas such as A Simple Plan, For Love of the Game and The Gift. These dramas may get overlooked but they offer some of the most captivating thrillers you’ll find within this genre.
So it’s a bit of a shock that Marvel would hire the director for their upcoming horror film, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Whether they want to keep their Phase-Four storyline within horror territory, or they hope he can help reestablish Doctor Strange as an important player within the MCU, we’ll have to see what transpires.
Scott Beck
The filmmakers behind A Quiet Place are taking their B-movie aesthetic to another level with their upcoming sci-fi thriller 65. The movie, which hits theaters this Friday, follows an astronaut as she crash lands on a planet filled with dinosaurs and other dangerous prehistoric creatures.
Though Scott Beck and Bryan Woods first conceptualized 65 over 10 years ago, it took them almost another decade to bring it into reality. Rewriting the script numerous times with gut-level decisions as they went along, their vision becoming a reality in the end.
As a result, the film has become one of their most successful projects. Furthermore, its concept resonated with them personally – something they often strive for when crafting stories.
Ariana Greenblatt
Ariana Greenblatt has had a storied and varied acting career, from her days on Broadway to playing Young Gamora in Avengers: Infinity War. Her most recent project is 65, directed by Scott Beck and Bryan Woods from A Quiet Place fame and starring Adam Driver.
65 is an ambitious science fiction movie featuring impressive special effects. It follows Mills (Adam Driver), who gets stranded on Earth millions of years ago amid a world filled with dinosaurs.
One of the more captivating elements of the film is Mills’ obligation to protect a little girl (played by Ariana Greenblatt) at all costs. This unique take on a “single agent” storyline sees one character attempt to save others while struggling for survival themselves.
The movie is quite enjoyable, though it could potentially bomb at the box office. Still, if you’re into action movies and dinosaurs then this one’s worth checking out!
Directors Explore Suspense of 65 Movie Sequel
Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, the directors behind Adam Driver’s new sci-fi thriller 65, have discussed the potential for a sequel or prequel. They’ve shared some early ideas for an additional installment on planet 65 million years ago where dinosaurs still roam.
In the movie, Pilot Mills (Driver) finds himself stranded on Earth 65 million years ago after his spacecraft crashes there. He and Koa (Ariana Greenblatt), a young girl speaking a different language, are the only survivors from the wreckage and must traverse an unfamiliar terrain filled with dangerous prehistoric creatures in order to stay alive.
